Cooperativismo y Desarrollo (COODES), is a publication of the Center for Management Studies, Local Development, Tourism and Cooperativism (CE-GESTA) attached to the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Pinar del Río "Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca". It is published in open access and has an external peer-review system. It has been published uninterruptedly since its first publication in 2013.

It is a publication aimed at social scientists and professionals linked to cooperativism, management, local development and tourism, as well as to people and institutions interested in the issues addressed in it. Cooperativismo y Desarrollo is an important way for the socialization of theoretical, methodological and practical contributions associated with its thematic profile.

Cooperativismo y Desarrollo is published quarterly, in the periods January-April, May-August and September-December. From volume 8 onwards, a continuous mode is adopted, where each issue is previewed on the platform from its opening and the articles that have completed the editing process will be accessible. The publication language is Spanish, and the title, abstract and keywords of each article are presented in English. From volume 7 onwards, the articles are also published in full text in English from the translation of the original in Spanish. From volume 8 onwards, the title, abstract and keywords of each article are presented in Portuguese.

This journal does not charge any type of fee or charge for publication, likewise assumes the Creative Commons 4.0 International License.

The journal is in favor of Open Science and therefore accepts manuscripts from preprints repositories or that promote the positioning of research data in dataservers, among other manifestations. The use of https://preprints.scielo.org is recommended.
