Abstract

The need, currently, companies increase their competitiveness increasingly, it is closely mediated efficiency and effectiveness with which the different processes that take place within them are administered. Having to adapt to a highly changing economic environment, it has become apparent tendency to put emphasis on logistics management and planning mechanism, aimed at reducing uncertainty in an unknown future, establishing synchronization between markets, distribution channels, operational activities and suppliers. Logistics becomes part of these new approaches, suggesting coherent interconnect to achieve a fully integrated management, which project their function, from a unique perspective, customer-focused. The Cuban cooperative sector is no stranger to this reality; and passing through its fourth stage, with the diversification of its presence in other branches of the economy, non-agricultural cooperatives, as a way of organizing reoriented production with its limitations and advantages, compete, then, for endorsing the feasibility of its implementation depending on the socioeconomic development of the nation, which does not mean that this is the only option, or that they should supplant other existing business structures. With the completion of this work it is to then highlight the link between the logistics approach as a management tool and business management system in cooperatives.
